Jakarta - An earthquake measuring 5.1 magnitude rocked the region around Palu, Central Sulawesi. The quake's epicenter was 120 kilometers northwest of Palu at 15:40 pm.
According to information from the Bureau of Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG), Monday (6/13/2011), no potential tsunami earthquake.
The quake occurred at a depth of 10 km. Up to now not known to the impact of this earthquake. BMKG calls, epicenter located 228 km northeast from Samarinda, East Kalimantan, and 220 km northwest of Poso, Central Sulawesi
